A different kind of Visitor looks onto the Backyard

I did not choose WHITE GLADS, but this is all I see.

The back of the Sun

The prettiest LEAF around

I had a blurry week. I have some wonderful shots of  nasturtium...but they are all blurry .

don't know why this is happening to my photos this week.

It could be there was not enough light...

Here the best one for now.

I caught the Feathery Feel by accident

It could easily be a MONET...

Cosmos -my seeds sprouted

Is she confused?

Do you remember my solution to the Hawk Issue?

Well it is working!

There is Life Hidden in the Jungle under the Bird Feeder now.

What is that bird sitting under the bird feeder?

I never got close enough to a mourning dove
to realize they have blue rings around their eyes.
I guess it suits them.

Take Your Passwords Seriously

Even a computer Security Expert was had. Read about it here.

They might have been laughing when they couldn't type in the 15 character Key the first time
because it was so complex,
but they sure won't get hacked so easily.
The President might seem overly cautious,
but he has been right all along.
You can never be too careful.

Magnolia Mania

The Beginning .......slender shapes of Pink

If you look up....you will see......Lovely contrast against the Blue Sky

Look at the softness of a single bloom. You can feel the scent.

Peak inside this delicate Bloom

A vision of Colour.
This Tree has not yet reached it's Peak of blooming

Another View

Is this is more breath taking than.......?

If I could paint..this is how I would capture it...just like this.......

And when the blooms become frail, they let their petals fall to the ground

to form a carpet of colour.......

This is the Japanese Magnolia.

Pretty in Pink

While strolling through a Toronto Park  a couple of weeks ago,
we came across this lovely blooming shrub in a backyard that backs on to the park.
I am totally in the dark about what this shrub is.
I would love the answer, because is worthy of adding to the garden one year.
Is it an Azalea Plant?

Is this forever or a summer fling?

I never realized that they were metallic

BLUE....

and what a pretty white belly.

Do you know what this pretty bird is?
This is the male. The female does not have any shiny blue.
